KLJ Hires Three in Grand Junction, CO

KLJ Engineering is proud to welcome three employees to their Grand Junction, CO office. Marc Kenney, Cole Miller, and Dean Cooper are the first of many in the company’s newest Colorado location.

Kenney will serve as a senior water process engineer and joins the KLJ team with more than 20 years’ experience in hydrology, hydraulics, transportation, and environmental engineering. He earned his master’s as well as a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a professional concentration in environmental engineering, both from Clarkson University in New York. Kenney is a registered professional engineer in Colorado, Utah, North Dakota, New Mexico, and Wyoming. He is a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM), Certified Professional in Stormwater Quality (CPSWQ) and a certified professional in erosion and sediment control, a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Colorado Association of State Floodplain Managers.

Miller, a senior engineer, has 18 years’ experience in the aviation industry working on more than 30 airport improvement projects in various states. He earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Idaho and is a registered professional engineer in Utah, Idaho, Montana, Colorado, and Wyoming. 

Cooper will serve as a senior transportation project manager. With more than 30 years’ experience he brings a wealth of knowledge in project conceptualization, design, project management, and construction. Cooper earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from The Citadel, in South Carolina. He is a registered professional engineer in Colorado and South Carolina.

KLJ’s new Grand Junction office, located at 1601 Riverfront Drive, is currently under construction with plans to open its doors this spring and will accommodate more than 60 professionals.
