KLJ Promotes Quanbeck to Community Planning Team Manager

KLJ Engineering LLC (KLJ), is pleased to announce Joel Quanbeck has been promoted to Community Planning Team Manager. In this role, he will provide leadership, oversight, strategic communication initiatives, implement effective planning services, and development of sustainable infrastructure for clientele.

Quanbeck is based in our West Fargo office and is a member of KLJ’s community planning team. He has more than 32 years of professional planning experience in North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota, Montana, and Colorado. He will continue serving clients as a project manager providing planning services to counties, cities, townships, metropolitan planning organizations, state government agencies, private developers, and both public and private non-profit organizations.

He joined KLJ in 2013 and has significant experience in land use planning and regulation, socio-economic analysis, public involvement, and floodplain management. Quanbeck earned his American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) credential and has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from North Dakota State University (NDSU).
