Ken McCarron Joins KLJ!
KLJ Engineering LLC (KLJ) is pleased to welcome Ken McCarron to our Englewood, Colo. office.
Dr. McCarron joins our team as an environmental Team Leader and has 30 years of experience working in the environmental, terrestrial, aquatic, and natural resources sectors. His expertise includes working on the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), permitting, wetland assessments, ecosystem surveys, and monitoring, restoration, and mitigation plans across North America and internationally. His clients range from federal agencies, oil and gas, mining, and transmission to the renewable energy industry.
With a strong technical and leadership background, he has grown, mentored, and overseen teams of scientists to meet the needs of clients. This has included developing unique approaches and solutions while maintaining budgets, project focus, and quality.
Dr. McCarron has a Ph.D. in ecophysiology from Kansas State University, a master’s degree in plant ecology from Appalachian State University, and a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Charleston. He is a published author of peer-reviewed scientific articles and contributions to the environmental science and ecology community through his ongoing commitment to education and mentorship. KLJ is excited to welcome Dr. McCarron to the firm and looks forward to his contributions to the company's continued success, positively impacting environmental needs and services.
