KLJ EXPANDS IN COLORADO

KLJ Engineering (KLJ), is proud to announce plans to expand its Colorado footprint by opening a new office location in Grand Junction, a thriving city in western Colorado. KLJ has been providing infrastructure engineering services for more than 80 years to communities and clients of all sizes throughout the nation.

Operating with a combination of physical offices and remote teams across the country, the Grand Junction expansion offers a space to bring professionals together to continue to pursue the company’s mission of improving the lives of people and communities by engineering progressive infrastructure.

“This is our second location in Colorado, with our first Colorado office being in the Denver Metro. Grand Junction is an excellent opportunity to expand our engineering, survey, and science services into communities that are really looking for the right size firm to solve complex infrastructure problems. We are just the right size to attract strong technical professionals who want to be proactive in our communities and provide value for our clients by bringing passion for infrastructure such as roadsrunways, and water to improve communities in which we all live and work,” said Chief Executive Officer, Dean Anagnost.

“Having a strong presence in western Colorado will allow KLJ to further serve the needs of Colorado and its communities,” said Greg Clum, who joined KLJ in 2018 as the company’s chief commercial officer and leads KLJ’s efforts to grow as national firm. The new Grand Junction office will be located at 1601 Riverfront Drive, known as the Bonsai Building, a riverfront location at Las Colonias.  The space includes 5,000 square feet and is anticipated to open its doors spring of 2021. “Although we can offer services from just about anywhere, said Clum, the Grand Junction office will house a variety of experts, from project managers to business developers to senior-level engineers.” This will allow the company to be in close proximity to clients and projects in the surrounding communities as well as bring job opportunities to the area.

KLJ is currently hiring for a variety of positions in Grand Junction, including senior civil engineers focused in transportation, aviation, and water, as well as senior project managers,  and business development positions.

The company, headquartered in Bismarck, ND, is committed to an exceptional customer experience and engineering progressive infrastructure across the nation. KLJ has been recognized as a Best Place to work in various geographies and most recently ranked 160th in Engineering News Record’s Top 500 Design Firms for its previous year’s performance. The company is dedicated to improving the lives of people and communities across the nation, winning both regional and national engineering awards for projects completed around the county. “Celebrating 80 years of experience [in 2019], KLJ has evolved into an industry leader by first excelling locally. Our commitment to local communities and local knowledge provides customers a strategic advantage when working with us through and understanding and knowledge of the communities in which we live and work,” said Anagnost.
