Montana Uplift America Community Facilities Relending Program

The United States Department of Agriculture, Uplift America Community Facilities Relending Program announces they have awarded $14 million in federal funds to the Montana & Idaho Community Development Corporation (MICDC) ($10 million) and the Farmers Bank of Victor ($4 million) for the purpose of relending to persistent poverty rural towns with populations less than 20,000. Funds may be used for essential community facilities such as health care, schools, town halls, child care centers and a variety of others.

Eligible Applicants: Federally recognized Tribes, community-based nonprofits and public bodies (governments) in high or persistent-poverty rural towns in Montana with a population less than 20,000.

Maximum Loan: Loan structure will be looked at on an individual community and project basis. Amounts, interest rates and loan terms are negotiable based on community project, debt capacity and repayment ability.

Deadline: Loan applications are accepted at any time.
