Competitive Highway Bridge Program

The Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration’s Highway Bridge Program has appropriated $225 million for competitive highway bridge projects. Funds must be used for highway bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects on public roads that demonstrate cost savings by bundling multiple highway bridge projects.

Eligible Applicants: State Departments of Transportation are the only eligible recipients of this program. Local entities are eligible to apply through their State Department of Transportation

Match: 20 percent
